Are you fond of wearing dark nail polishes?

I am not fond of wearing dark nail polishes like black and deep reds and purples. They may look sexy and elegant but I hate it when they stain my nails yellow. The yellow stains are quite hard to remove so my only option is to wait for my nails to outgrow the stain. How do you remedy stained nails from wearing dark nail polishes?

Put a clear basecoat down first. Also, look for polishes without formaldehyde. That's typically what stains your nails. I love wearing dark colors, and I never get yellow nails because of this.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind if ever I would wear dark nail polishes :)

I don't like the darker colors on me. I would rather wear the earth tone colors and all the other lighter colors.
