I am in Southern California, but I just might be interested. What kinds of crafts were you thinking about?
I make bead and wire jewelry and make some of my own beads with polymer clay and other media.
Take a look when you can and let me know if I would fit into your plan I should have some more items by the beginning of next week posted:

Thanks!

Very cool jewelry! I am thinking all types of crafts such as yours..not the typical country crafts you usually see. I also have a new website you may want to check out. You can have your website linked to mine as a text link for free. www.indieyellowpages.com or my blog is www.indieyellowpages.typepad.com Thank you!

My "website" is actually a store front in an online mall, so I am not sure how the linking would work. I will check out those links.
Here are some other pieces I have that either didn't make the cut for the store, or have been already sold. These pieces are both real stone and polymer clay beads, which I make as well. I seem to be a whiz at poly clay fauxs/imitations!

Most of the pics in this album are of jewelry and beads I have made. The only other ones are Dana Point, where hubby and I have a boat. I take pictures there to run thru Photoshop. I am working on altering photos for cards and stuff as another line to sell on etsy, or elsewhere - some day!

Perhaps I am showing my ignorance, but what is "indie?"
And what do you mean by "alternative?"
I've done a gazillion craft shows, art fairs, festivals, fairs, etc. But I have never heard those words to describe.
I have never done a "country fair," though they abound around here (suburban Detroit).
I do mostly religious stuff: rosary, key chains with religious medal, necklaces, bracelets. I also do some jewelry without religious medals.
I want to start creating some religious images with polymer clay, but just haven't motivated myself to try it out out.
So, what is "idie" and what is "alternative?"
