My husband is 88 and has been an amputee for 5 years. He has numerous prosthesis and they don't seem to work. He is having serious burning, tingling and numbness to the point of unbearable. He has always been very active, but his has caused him to be unable to do anything. He built three houses 6 years ago and the first year after his amputation he did very well. But it has been downhill ever since. It is destroying his life. Does anyone know anything about this sort of thing. Any amputees out there? Perhaps some of you may have had the same thing or know someone who has. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi my husband had a amputee below the knee a over 5 years ago...Seem like every year or couple of years he would have to get it adjusted or new one. Frist is your husbands below the knee or above the knee? Has he been back for adjustments? What type of prosthic does he have?
