I wanted to be a family member of the Waltons! In need of more wholesome Shows

The "Waltons" and "Little House on the Prairie" were my favorite shows with the country life! "Anne of Green Gables" and the spin-off series of "Avonlea". Also by Michael Landon was the show "Father Murphy" that went along with the "Little House" series.

I'm a very nostalgic person, and the Waltons was my mother's favorite show. It was one of the main reasons I bought Dish Network, so I could have the Hallmark Chanel and watch the Waltons! I absolutely love watching them every day, and feel like they're all personal friends of mine :) Little House too, I've actually dreamed a couple of times, that I was an Ingalls!

Yes I don't think it would do this world any harm to have a few more wholesome shows on TV again, there is a lot of violent shows and very dark negative shows on these days, I used to watch all the cowboy shows when I was young like The Rifleman, Sugarfoot, Cheyenne and Wagon Train, yes they had bad guys in them but they always ended up with the bad guys being taught a lesson or the Good guys always winning.

We watch the Waltons almost every morning. Little House too. Then we watch Touched by an Angel. My 13 year old likes Little House a lot although she won't come out and say it LOL. I just heard my 16 year old telling someone last night that she loves Touched by an Angel. 16! Can you believe it? They will occasionally watch Matlock that comes on right after. They seem to enjoy that too. In this day in age good programming like this is hard to come by and to have my teen daughters liking them so much really makes me happy!!
