Paste ad codes in blog

Is anyone having trouble pasting ad codes in blogs?
I am new to blogs and is having trouble with pasting ad codes other than google ads on my blogspot.

I'm not familiar with blogspot cause I use blogchex for my blogs. Blogchex pays you to blog so check that out! I think you have to go to the file manager in blogspot to be able to add the codes? I'm not entirely sure. I wish you luck though!
