Do you know what WINVNC is? / myLot

I work in a call center. I was on leave for 2 days, when I came back. Our I.T. installed WINVNC on my computer. I saw it on my taskbar. What does it do?

Hello Irisaeirin, how are you doing? Their logo is WinVNC. I didn't know what it was either, but I did a search and now I know what it is. It is a software so you can view files from more than one computer. For example, if he has it on your computer and then has it on his computer he can view any of your views. Since this is work related then I think it's okay, however you may not want him to have this software if you have personal files on the computer. Yea, it is a remote desktop tool, so if it is installed on 5 computers (let's say), then any of those computers can see files on those five computers. It can be a good thing for businesses. Wow! Thank you for the best response :D
