How does one earn a star in mylot?

I wonder how one can earn a star in my lot. I've been looking around and i realize that it's not the number of times we answer a discussion that makes us earn a star. Who gives the star and what are their basis for giving the star? can you help me?

Once you have 100 posts you get a star. You get a star rating based on people giving you positive or negative feedback for each post that you make, or the lack of responses even can detract from your star rating. Personally I tend to give postive rateing to everyone who responds to my discussions and anyone else who I think makes a good, logical, well thought out or helpful response, whether it's to one of my discussions or one I just happen to be reading. hey we're close to having that star on our id lol. lets keep kicking and try to post quality discussions. but as for me, i should never worry reaching one hundred. let's just enjoy and participate more. we all come to that. cheers.

Hello.,bingerlaem62,I think you have just get your star but i am not able to see what colour is your star. All the members who get 100 posts will get a star and ratign automatically according to your quality of discussions and replies. The highest rating is ten with a blue star, the rating will be affected by other members and it will be fluctuating.
If you keep up with good quality responses, your rating will be increased in long term.

Wonder no more as after this discussion you have here you will have a star, as you have reached 100 and so you will see how you have been rated do not worry if your star is low as most users start off with a low rating and if you need any other help remember I am here to help you. Mylot administrators give you your star rating, and you will see when the next time you come online.
