hi friend,i do not think that electric dictionary would replace the paper one.yes,electric dictionary is more convient than paper one,but i find that sometimes i can not seek the words in electric dictionary,so i have to look up them in paper one.do you find this?

For my case, YES, absolutely! The reason is I can bring it wherever I go. I have English-English definition, English-French dictionary with me all the time in my mobile phone + PDA Treo 650. I would have to bring two very thick dictionaries if it is on paper. With the electronic type, I can search for words easily and faster, conjugate verbs (very useful in French) easily, I even can type numbers just to know how it is written (very useful to write a check). So electronic dictionary for me.

For a dictionary, yes, for a book, no. An Electric dictionary serves better, faster, more effective, and come to think about it, ways cheaper :D
