Ding Dong! You need to open the door. You're the only person at home and you're frying your favorite chicken, you have to go to the door and open it. you leave your chicken in the kitchen. You go to the door to open it and then after that, there's no one. someone's playing with you, you get irritated and you bang the door.... News Flash. you are watching a very important news and then your house mate suddenly asks something at you and you missed the important part of the whole story. You are watching your favorite Tv show and then someone just asks something about the story of the show for he/she missed last night's episode and then you missed the secret spilling part of the protagonist.. I know some of this are like, exaggeration but in general, do you hate distractions? =)

i do! i can shout at the person distracting me if i'm doing something and i am distracted. but most of the time, i just hold my temper and don't mind the person. i act as if i don't hear them or that they didn't exist. i turn blind so that i can not see them :)

I sometimes play deaf also ha ha! if the person is talking of the same thing again and again and I can't stand it, I'll just be quiet and little by little, get out of the scene ha ha!

Who doesn't hate distractions? Personally, when I'm busy and I mean, really busy and needs something to get done, I want to be by myself and just be left alone until I finish. But when I'm just doing the usual stuff and being distracted, by my kid, most of the time, I don't get pissed with that. Just when doing important things that distraction is a major no-no.

well of course everybody was in one of this situations one day or another and it may be very very disappointing..like having your so long desired shower and someone ringing your bell and you are the only one who could open and have to decide what to do. going out and opening or leave it and don't think about it? or your best friend calling you when you had just fallen asleep or someone passing on your foot and you have your fresh new nail polish...do you want to scream, don't you? I think we should sometimes!!!

These sort of distraction happens in everyones life and we cant help it ..just cope with that only. But really irritation happens when we are alone and someone wantedly plays with us and disturbs our entire work.In that case i will shout if the person stands nearby me or not. If i watch any favourite program and somebody asks for any previous narration i will tell then in sign that i will narrate them later and watch my show. I will get real angry when someone distract me from sleep by switching the light on, on the television with full volume and surf channels without watching any thing in particuar.

It's inevitable you know, so you could either deal with it or bear with it. I choose the first option, and if I can't do much about it, I'll take a break to rest. There's absolutely no need of being upset, because it will greatly reduce your job's quality, or ruin the mood for the fun.

Yes, I find distractions irritating, especially when they come at crucial moments like these. The cooking one is a real maddening one because your food can be ruined with distraction, or worse still, you could end up with a fire in your kitchen. I think I might tend to ignore any interruption during cooking for safety reasons. After all, if it's important, the person will come again. Brightest Blessings.

Some distractions are really unimportant and they often come when you're doing something really important.

Oh yes. I can totally related to the examples that you mentioned and I don’t think those are exaggeration because it always happens to me. I don’t like distractions. I think majority of us do. Every time I’m doing something, even if I’m just watching TV, reading my favorite book, cooking, I don’t like it when people interrupts me or when they break my peace and quiet.

Uhm yes I do hate distractions it actually ruins my mood, especially when I'm having a good time doing something. Example, when I take a bath and then someone would knock on the door and say I have a phone call, a text message or they're telling me to hurry up, it really irritates me... Ahahaha... No one ruins my bath routine! Another is when I work on the computer, I don't want to take my butt of the chair to answer any call, or anyone else.. Ahahaha... I hate distractions...

I hate distractions! I'm the type who when busy wants to be uninterrupted, be it at the office doing my tasks or just at home, cooking, doing my chores or watching tv. Who doesn't get pissed off when you are busy watching your favorite show which even if it airs late you patiently wait for it, and then suddenly the phone rings and it's your friend who just called to ask if she left her wallet inside your car and she doesn't want to hang up until you check it out for yourself?! This just happened last night so I still am upset. The wallet wasn't inside our car but I was upset to know that when I came inside, the show just finished, and even if there is a replay this afternoon I won't be able to watch it because of my schedule. I stayed up late to know what will happen to next and then I just missed it! And to make it all worse, my friend just announced that she finally found her wallet! Aaargh! :/

I hate being distracted when i'm trying to do something, mostly whenever my husband is sitting on my shoulder staring at what im doing. Its not that i'm trying to hide something, but i can't focus on it whenver he's like a fly on my shoulder. I also hate it when my mind wanders because of the television or the radio, its just so annoying.

Definitely! Especially when I am working. I have to write proposals and other things for example and MSN keeps beeping at me; if I turn MSN off then my mobile beeps with text messages or rings; if I turn the phone off as well then my email goes crazy or people come into my office and hassle me! All I want to do is get my work finished!!! It never ends.....

I do get annoyed with distaractions when I am doing something but try not to make too big of a deal about it although sometimes it does become very annoying . When you have children in the house there are sure to be distrractions all through the day and night and it is something we have to deal with and although it can get annoying I wouldn't change the distractions in my house because it symbolizes a big household which I love :)

Distractions are good for health. When one is too engrossed in anything, he is straining his eyes, hands and spine for prolong hours. This is bad as it may result in many occupational diseases. So once, a while, a distraction is good as it helps one to relax. I particularly like distractions when I am already distracted and bored. Just hoping that some distractions can become an attraction. lol.

Yes I do hate that. my husband knew I was waiting for Heroes to come back on after a hiatus. It was at a very important part and he started talking about his job !!! I wanted to choke him !! Then afterwards, he had the audacity to ask me what was going on. I answered him very politely by saying " I don't know, someone was rudely speaking at the precise moment they said something crucial" He always asks me questions about the show right in the middle of the show !! The worst part is he is sitting right there watching it too !! Can't he see it for himself ??

Yes, I do hate distractions especially like when you're about to get the juiciest gossip then sudddenly someone says, "the boss is coming!" lolz. But sometimes there are good distractions, a distraction in someone's selfish way of thinking is a good one, or a distraction from trying to end someone's disastrous life is noble. I do easily get distracted 'cause I am a little bit of a paranoid about some stuff so it breaks me and makes me at the same time. It would piss me a lot but then, that's life. hehe If you can't beat them, join them. Did you just interrupted me? lolz
