Do you believe in the saying, "If you love someone, let that person free, if that person comes back to you, he/she is yours, if they don't, you never had them in the first place".

That is my favorite line before. It doesn't always come true, though. Maybe it will sound better this way, "If you love someone, set him free, if s/he comes back, it doesn't mean s/he's yours...it may only mean that you're meant to be just friends."

Thats not always true............its happened to me were that person has come back in my life after a 18 month split up and 4 yrs later we are still together but NOT HAPPY at all ONCE a CHEATER always a CHEATER

actually there are many versions of that saying,i just saw it on a forum. it seems that different people have different ideas.
i just remember the playboy version : "if you love someone,let that person free,if that person comes back to you,set her free again,if they dont,set yourself free."

that sounds like a lyric in a song.. isn't it? i do believe in that saying.... i think if we do love someone.. set them free.. don't ever pressure her.... you have to give her chance to choose their own happiness.. if she thinks you're not her happiness... then you just have to wish her.. i believe if you do love someone.. you'll be hoping for her to be happy everyday right? so.. don't always compare why she choose others and not you.. just keep in mind.. if you really love someone.. pray for her happiness.. be there when she needs someone.. this is considered as sacrifices in a relationship =)
