anime or manga?

w/c you guys think that is more enjoyable? Reading manga or watching anime? w/c do you think is better. I think I prefer manga but watching manga is also enjoyable since there are sound effects. I still prefer reading manga! LOL!

My daughter does both. She loves the books, because she can read them again and again. She likes anime, too, but sometimes gets irritated. Like if she watches something in Japanese with subtitles, then they dub it in English, if the voices don't match she won't watch it in English.

yea i feel the same, some of the dubbings sounds quite good but others not naming names *coughNARUTOcough* just sound plain awful, some of the voices in the "un-named" anime sounds half decent but still the un-named was awful and so i watch the japanese one, but one of the decent dubbings i think is bleach, ive only seen a bit of the anime although how they pronounce the names are a little stupid but thats forgivable, but because ive watched the japanese since the beginning of it i will remain on the japanese versions! But the mangas are more fun in my mind!

I prefer watching anime because you can see the characters who portray in that anime show what kind of voices they dubbed, what kind of sounds and their expressions in doing that role.

I like both, i like to read manga but i like to watch anime, although anime is aimed at 7 year olds and manga is aimed at older people so i tend to read more manga than watch anime
