Hello, aciddrop, I think this statement may be right or wrong, there may always be someone who treat other people well but do not receive the same thing from the other people.A woman may have treated her boyfriend really good, but her boyfriend may have cheated her.
Or you may have treated your friends well, but finally they may betrayed you.
I would better change this statement, that is if you do treat other people badly, they will treat you as bad as they can.
I will treat all of my friends well no matter they will treat me good or not because I am not seeking for reward.
Good luck

I believe in treating other as you would like to be treated. I try to be pleasant to everyone. I also go by that other rule If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all. I think by watching what you say and by treating others nicely you save alot of conflict in relationships. It better to calm down and think before you speak. I think most of the time if you are nice to someone they will be nice to you.

Hmm.. in any relationship, there must be give and take... and don't hope anything in return. So we don't get frustrated later on. But don't expect when we do something nice, people will treat us nice...

We like not deslike any thing that is good.We enjoy not hate seeing beauty whether in human or in nature, like not hate good perfumes, are happy and pleased never feel unpleasant when loved. Similarly, as long as we treat others well we are must to get well treatment in return
