well, we do have regrets in our lives... small or big, we use these parts of the sentences when regretting.. the "should haves" "instead ofs" and "could have beens".
as for me, i had been through a lot in my life. but i don't regret much about them. i think it's the process i need to go through to become who i am now. and i am thankful of my past.
as for me... here's my line:
just last time, i bought a dress and since i wanna go home quick, i did not try it on anymore and so, when i tried it at home, it appeared to be a little centimeters bigger for me. and so i say,
I SHOULD HAVE tried it on at the mall. INSTEAD, i did not and just paid for it. IT COULD HAVE BEEN better paying for a dress which will really fit me right.
how about you? wanna share some small or huge regrets?
happy myLotting to all!!!

Sometimes in life we have experienced some huge and small regrets in life.On my part every time I have regrets I just told myself that I should have done this and that would would lead myself being discourage. Then the next time I have encountered the same situation I just smiled and say that I know how to handle this and I don't want to regrets again. It is nice to acknowledge our failures and regrets in life and able to learned from them in order for us to be successful.

yup. doing things, realizing it's a mistake, regretting, learning from it and moving on... well, atleast we always get on with the "learning from it and moving on stage" and never stay on the "regretting" stage. take care romel!

if you say that my having pursued being an engineer in this life means that i have overcome my regrets, no, i don't think so. until now, i regret having become an engineer instead of having been a medical doctor.

oh, these regretting thing. my biggest regret in life is having become an engineer when my best love is in the pursuance of health. i had wanted to be a doctor but, my mom wasn't sold to the idea. i should have pursued instead nursing rather than engineering. it would have given me the opportunity to be still in the fold of health pursuance. how i regret that i have become an engineer.

I can write a list as long as my arm. Well there is one regret I have lol, among many. When I had a shopping list for God about my new husband, what I want in a man, I forgot to put the location didn't I? Stupid plonker me, so now I am backwards and forwards like a friggin' yoyo to the States lol and it is very tough for both of us, missing each other like hell. I can't even pray properly without stuffing up!!!

well in Italy we have some good mottoes about regrets. One states.."I se ed i ma sono il patrimonio degli imbecilli", that can translate like this, Only foolish people have their mouth full of if and but. Another good one says "Del senno di poi sono piene le fosse", that is how to say: Graveyards are full of people thinking about what they had better done!!!
This is just to say that it is better live and make mistakes than hoping to be perfect and try to do always the best thing of all but doing nothing at all!!! I prefer complaining about what I did than not doing things and then regretting this. what about you?.Of course I try to think well before doing things in order to do only what I think it right in that precise moment

whew! thanks! i thought i am a foolish person. hehe. but since you said that foolish people are full of if's and but's, i am glad to say, i am not that kind of person. hehe. i just commit mistakes and look back a bit and regret a little and go on with my life.
there are things which we should have done better. but since it's done, better live with it and learn from it.
happy myLotting!

Hello, anne, can you go back to the shop and change for a smaller one? If no, is it ok to be a little centimeters bigger? Can you still wear it even it is a bit bigger?
Sometimes i will have small regrets happen in shopping, for example,I had bought a frypan few weeks ago at a supermarket for 20 dollars but i found out later that the same one was selling at 15 dollars in other stores, although it is only 5 dollars difference,I could have spent it on something else.
Anyway,we will all have regrets, small and big ,but we get to move on,life will not change even we have regret,so why not keep ourself happy everyday.

well, i can wear it even if it's a bit larger for my size. hehe. i think i will still look okey with it.
yup.. we all have regrets in life.. small or big. but the good point you stressed out in here is that, we find a way to forget about it and move on in life.
happy myLotting easy!
