I am sooooo upset!

I cried, and I cried and I cried again just now. Why was I crying?
I was watching american Idol gives back...
Sure i do know that the world is not a perfect place and that people are suffering all over - but still these things go straight to my heart.
When they showed that mom that was desperate to take her little boy to the hospital, and then said they never made it I just couldnt stop crying.
This just hurts me so much. I feel so weak coz I complain over so small things and then there are people starving all over the place...
I also made a decision. I went to www.americanidol.com and I donated all the money mylot has given me. $100, and that can feed a kid for a year... A whole year...
If i can buy a present for my bf worth $300 I for sure can donate this money to save a life..
I feel good now. Wish I could donate more - but I do not have alot myself - hopefully they will come in handy for someone else...

That is wonderful what you did. I hope more people out there will do the same thing. Last nights American Idol show was very tear jerking. It is very upsetting how us Americans who have so much complain over the littlest things when there are people out there in this world that would be blessed to have our lives. I wish I could do the same as you, but my earnings here I need. My husband controlls the money from me so the only way for me to make money is to do things like this that he does't know about. But I am trying to think of other ways that I can give back to those in need. God Bless you!!!!

I am guessing that there are alot more that we can do, and I wish that I also could do more. I would love to volenteer work or something, just not sure how to go about that.

Wow, bless your caring heart. I haven't even earned $10.00 or I would give that. Some people (and you are one) have such a sypathetic heart and it is a good thing not a bad. You have bought schooling, medicine, food, and mosquito netting for those poor children. Bless your heart!

I have earned this for months, and I feel as if they have better use for it. I would just use it to buy some luxury item... I am glad to be able to help, even in a small way

That is great!Yes it is very sad to see all thise children.I still can't believe the mess in New Orleans!I live in the U.S.and I would think that out of all the money we donate overseas we could do alot better.

Yeah, sweden are also great donors, and still we do not have the perfect country... However we are ok, and our money will do more us eto other countries.

I heard that they have a bout 60 millin dollars so far and that will come a long way =)

Wow! I'm really touched by your story. I saw that too. They were so poor and discriminated because of their financial incompetence. I feel for them too. I also wanted to hep too honestly, but I really don't have the money to donate it to them. It's summer here in our country so there are no classes, in short I have no allowance. And if ever I will have sufficient money to help a life, I choose to donate it first to the people here in our country. There are many poor people here too and I really wanted to help them.
The 100bucks that you lost because you donated it will be doubled up the next time because you really did a good thing. Congratulations to you. Add up your prayers to the donations for people like them. :) It will really help a lot.

Helping people in your own country also is important, but here we have a great security system so no people are starving over here.

What a show that was. I had the roll of paper towels near me, I couldn't control myself especially when Simon was at the bedside of that poor woman who was dying of AIDS. I never thought I would see the compassionate side of Simon but he showed it. I hope the money they raised will help get medications for the people who need it.

I am not watching American Idol nor do I have any knowledge about the mother's plight. I applaud you for your sensibility in donating money to the mother. It isn't everyday that we see a good kind hearted soul like you. Your money will definitely goes a long way for this less fortunate people.

I am very upset and low as my very good friend flunked in her 11th grade....she is so upset that she kept on crying in front of me and i was feeling so helpless as i couldnt do anything for her...she has already faced a lot in life well she flunked as she took it lightly and kept on spending time with her friends ..well i hope she'll be fine...but then i guess its her dad that she is most worried about...well i hope she'll be to face all these situations...

i think you had done a fanastic idea giving money for the charity work is nice and you will get more blessing from those people. i think we should have to give at least some money for the charity work. See While we are enjoying do you ever thing the people who had no sheltter, food, cloth these are people are living in our world. if we do some help for them we will get lot of enjoyment in our life. So donating to the charity is the good think. I will also donate my money from the my lot to the charity but its only 2 dollars.
