Do you think America is fair in playing the world police role? Is is their duty or are they just poking their nose in others businesses?

I dont think it is fair for Americans to play world police. We need tol clean our own backyards and fix our own problems before we go sticking our noses in someone elses business. Besides who helps us when we need help. Who helps us during the WTC bombing, hurrucane Katrina, oil, our working poor, deadly diseases here, etc NO ONE!!!!

Actually countries all over the world sent help after Katrina - further embarrassing the shockingly poor response from the federal government...

The federal government was never intended to take care of the individual. The federal government doesn't even have the power to under the Constitution. The state and local governments were responsible and they failed miserably.

I think what you have asked about in first sentence has answered in second! well this kind of BIG BROTHER'S role if he want to play he can play! I dont have objection! But when in the name of world protector amd other things are not ok! I know American people also does not like this kind of political advocasy but the politicians have their own ego to show their public that we can rule over the world!

When I write BIG BROTHER my tone was sarcastic! because I believe that the real big brother has no need to say so! And i think that what more to say now?

Thanks for your valuable opinion. But does the 'big brother role' still hold if he starts hurting the smaller ones real badly?

I think that the US does have a responsibility to try and help those other parts of the world where people live in poverty or under repression. It is certainly true that some acts of intervention are perhaps less well planned and less well executed by those in power - who then expect the men on the ground to pick up the pieces. Nonetheless, it's a noble goal. I will quote the West Wing: "It's the price you pay for being rich, free, and alive all at the same time."

It's not - but on the other hand, sometimes you need to use force to remove evil regimes. But that only becomes help in the long run if you take the time to plan for after the bombs.
