Tattoos and peircing? which do you prefere?

I am old now, I have had my ears pierced since I was 10 years old but I never had a tatoo. My son has lots of tatoos, I don't really like them. But I don't like a lot of body piercings either, I think it is just too much.

I think that I prefer tattoos to piercings. I have five tattoos, but all of them are easily concealable under normal clothing. I have seven piercings, and all but one of those (belly button) are normally visible (five on my ears and one on my nose). There is a social stigma attached to both piercings and tattoos, and so it is usually better to be able to conceal them. I get a lot of flak for my nostril piercing, even though it is tiny and dainty. Although there are a few other piercings I might like to have, I won't get any more, because I would have to take care to conceal them too often. On the other hand, I have plenty of skin that can be tattooed, and that I can cover up when I have to, and show it off at other times.

I prefer piercing than tatoos because the latter is permanent. The piercings can be undone. My ears were pierced back when I was still a baby. I can't even remember the pain I felt during those times. There was a time I wanted my upper ear to be pierced but I decided not to. Right now I am thinking of getting my nose pierced with a very small silver jewel on it. Like in the video of "Beautiful" by Cristina Aguilera. I guess you should really think about getting a tattoo. You should think carefully since we are talking about permanent markings. You should know what tatoo and on what body part you want the art.

I have four tattoos, each one is my own artwork, and I love them. My tattoos are unique and will never been seen on anyone else, they are special to me. I thought long and hard before I made the decision to have my tattoos done and I have no regrets at all.

I like both, but i'm afraid of the needles. But one day i want to get peircing in my nose, look so stylish for me. and make a beutiful tattoo in my back.

i dont have a tatoo but i wouldnt mind getting one in the form of the x-men symbol.i like the ultimate x-men sign(its 4 diamonds forming a x.)look for one that shows your personality and get that tatooed.

piercing with pins already used in others' body may have chance of AIDS,being transmitted to you so be careful!!

I like tattoos. But not all over where you can see them heaps. I have 3 which i have had for many years. But they are covered, and discreat. I have my ears pierced ( 3 in one ear and 2 in the other). I am fine with that. But i dont like all the other body piercings. My daughter wants her belly button done but i wont let her till she is old enough to go herself. In Australia you have to be 18 or have parents permission. But i see so many young ones with piercings, they think it looks good but it doesnt. But it is their choice. If you arent absolutely sure that you want a tattoo, dont get one because it is permanent. and you cant change it. You have to remember they fade, and when your body changes shape your tattoo does too.

i only have one pirceng in my body..its only in my ear...i love to have tatoo but i dont want my mom to be mad at because of that...
