well dear mylotians, do you yawn at work. less sleeping hrs are not the only reason for yawning during working hrs. A research conducted by pen state college on 174 people revealed that the possible five reasons for yawning at office hrs are
-depression
-problems related to weight.
-sleepless nights due to increasing age.
-getting less time to sleep during night.
- and diabetes.

Yes sometimes I had found myself yawning at work, especially when I had a late night the night before but I did try to hide it but thank you for explaining more reasons why we do yawn at work as I did not realize these other reasons for doing this.

Gosh....I do yawn at my work...but I tried to cover it everytime. By pretend doing something to so it won't be to obvious...gulp. Most of the time the reason was getting less time to sleep during night...

yes he is. he is a result-oriented boss. as long as you give him result, he doesnt care about anything, even late to work. haha.

Sometime I do yawn at my working hours, it’s not because of less sleeping hour. I usually yarn as the moment when I’m having a dull work and I feel tedious, or due to a drowsy hot afternoon.

Those are interesting reasons. And true but they left one out that I have found to be true. I have experimented on more than one day and found this to be true. If you have not tried it do it and see what happens. I will walk into work and walk down the hallway and when someone passes me I will do a great big yawn. As I walk further on I hear him/her yawning and who ever is passing does the same thing. It is like a chain reaction. Every time I have done this it has started people yawning.

Hmmm, I yawn a lot, especially when I have only four hours of sleep. But your post gives another perspective to yawning. I have to ponder on it. Thanks for the great post Gha! Have a nice day! (^^,)
