I'm allergic to milk and the lack of calcium has taken its effect over the years. I eat all vegies and such that contain calcium and take vitamin supplements that contain calcium. Does anyone know a way to get more calcium in my diet. I have tried all the over the counter meds that help with digesting milk...they don't work on me. I still ex termly ill after eating any type of milk product...even tried soy products still no luck.

i was always taught, it's always best to try to get it
[nutrition] from the actual foods, or juicing if you can... Besides, you often lose the important fiber. imho, It's about a Lifestyle change & making healthier eating priority, it's much more than popping a supplement, if your digestive system is up to par for the task.

As you are allergic to milk and milk products, you should change your diet to get calcium and vitamins accordingly. Just include the following fruits in your diet to get more nutrients than you get from milk.
1. Apple : It is a rich source of fiber, calcium and phosphorous. Calorie- 59kcal per 100g.
2. Guava : It is packed with vitamin-C, phosphorous, calcium. Calorie- 51kcal per 100g
3. Grape: Rich with calcium, phosphorous and iron. Good for kidney and acts as mild laxative. Calorie-71 kcal per 1000g.
4. Broccoli; calcium, betacarotine, vitamin-C and fiber packed in them to fight digestive disorder and heart and bone disease. They also save skin disease.
Remember, to digest calcium, sit under the sun for at least 5 minutes. This is also best method to fulfill the deficiency of vitamin-D.
