Forever young or ever growing old? Is it better to die? What about seeing your friends die again and again? And what f they were also immortals? Is it ethic? Is it religiously well seen? Do you think it will be possible with science develop?

I don't believe I would ever want to live forever . They say that when we die we move on to a better place and it would be too hard to watch everyone you care about around you die . My husband always says he is going to live forever and wants to be froze in ice if anything ever happens to him so that years from now when they find a way for people to live forever , he would be able to come back again when they unthaw him . Realistically speaking though , I don't believe it will be possible even with all the technology they are coming up with each year that anyone will ever be able to live forever . We all have to die sometime and the chances of the world ending are greater then someone living forever in my belief .

When I was a little girl,I am always telling my friends I don't want live too long, I don't want to live when I lose youngth and beauty, I don't want to live as an old woman. Well, after I grow up, I found I was so native, then. The women with ages have another kind of charm and wise. So,I want to live a long life, actually, but not forever, that's impossible. Interesting topic, missak.

We all begin to die the moment we were born. That's how frail our human body is. I guess, I would want that... Immortality. I'd like to bear witness to the evolutionary process of mankind and technological advances. That would be too lonely though without a companion.

Im thankful is not possible.. Even tho I would love to prolong the happy moments shared with friends, family or a special someone.. Ive come to realize eternity becomes total boredom.. You get tired of the same things over and over gain.. you get the opportunity of seeing everything, pehaps living the same situations more than once, get to see places.. perhaps every one that intrigues you or you like.. but what after ? U just have to see the ones you love pass by in life, die and be alone with time ? Naha.. Unless you promise to be with me forever I totally opposed the idea Mr. Missak =P haha Luv ya !

we don't like what we don't know...because we don't know what it means to live forever..we don't like it.... maybe we should ask Hunza...people who live for over 120-140 years...and die young......I think that life is to short...and humans are going to live much longer...at least to 150....retire at 120...ha,ha....

I would lik to say i want to be young forevr and dont want to die - or atleast be young forever until i die. But we do have to constantly evolve and i do want to experience all the other things in lfie too - like the pleasure of having grandchildren, of growing old and wise with the one I love. Also, we have lessons to learn in life which we cannot if we stay stagnant at a particular age and life. So we have to evolve, grow older, die and then be reborn in another life with new hopes & dreams.

Every moment is sweeter because it's one moment,we will never see again.Just think how many things would lose all meaning if we could live forever. We will never pass this way again and that knowledge is what keeps the fire burning inside and I want to go down yelling "oh yeah!! What a ride!!" Be safe and well, Irish

I would say yes in the blink of an eye, but only if I can look, and feel 28 years old, forever. I exaggerated now, but I think scientifically it is not impossible and not too far in the near future. Before they will be able to make us immortal, I would like them to stop the aging proses and improve on the quality of life, and find cures for cancer and Aids. If it is ethical, or how people see it religiously will differ from cultures and individuals, I personally have nothing against it.

no living forever is boring not unless you haven't lived your life forever. Life must have an ending no story is complete without an ending or even a sentence or phrase should have a dot or period. Everything must end no good thing lasts forever only memories.

This is hell where we are at right now. I would have to be insane to want to live here forever. I want to go home and see my maker when my day comes. So as crazy as it sounds, I want to die.

we could be forever young the word every young person wants!!! but it is clinically possible to live young. One has to move on, the life does not come to a stand still .it has to move on So is ok to be pretty & young but life teaches us each day and we become wiser . we may even preserve our bodies with the advancement of science but still life loses its charms after a certain age u r taken for granted ... then one we should learn to accept life gracefully maturing rightly into old age & may be perish one day leaving our thoughts behind.... for the future progeny to think & ruminate upon

I would not want to live forever in a physical human body, Young or old... I already live forever in spirit, and have recalled many of my past lives, and understand the immortality is there for all in spirit and energy in a way that many and myself can not understand. :). I am sure its possible for science to develop, but I would not want to live forever that is a very very long time, and nothing lasts forever... in the physical level. - DNatureofDTrain

If I was Immortal, I just wish the people around me would also be Immortal. it would be so hard to lost all the people I love and to be all alone. WE all have to die one day. This is the cycle of life and we have to accept it :)

The only way that I would accept living forever is if I was etherial. Can you imagine what the earth would look like if everyone lived forever? Talk about an overcrowding problem!! I do think that science will continue to find ways to extend our lifespan but I don't think they will get as far as immortality for us. Interesting question, by the way.
