I've lived in Manila all my life and have yet to discover all the great sights and sounds. I've been to the museums, malls, and the different cities in the metro, but I would like to discover special places which have sparked you interests. I've been to Riverbanks and sees it a possible spot for tourists or just ordinary citizens out for a stroll. Do you have any favorite places you can share, somthing that has its own charm? It may or may not be a tourist spot.

My memory of Manila were only of Luneta Park, the fort in Intramuros and the Planitarium. It is where my parents usually take us every time we come visit our uncle in Quezon City back in early 1990s when we were still living in Laguna. in the eyes of a child that places were the most beautiful because it let us took a glimpse of our heritage...well actually what we did there were just to play and take pictures as souvenir.ΓΌ We live in Mindanao for the last 13 years. I could only see or hear about Manila on tv. Im glad we are not living there, the traffic is just too much. I've seen views of Baywalk on tv, that's actually a nice place to people-watch, stroll and watch sunset too, if only the slum community near it wouldn't ruin the scenery.
