DO you use a PENCIL???? OR its A HISTORY for you????

I don't enjoy using pencils as much as I enjoy sharpening them, LOL. I'm forced to use pencils, because any pen taken to office gets lost, and they do not give us either pens or refills at office - just pencils! So pencil it is! I use it for all my notes, although it is the sharpening part that I enjoy the most. I've kept the shavings in my drawer - the ones that are really long and look like flowers. Kiddish, ain't I ;-)

I still use pencils a lot. Not only do I use them for writing, but to sketch things out when I am drawing. I tried drawing with only a pen, but my work turns out to messy and looks like maybe a child got a hold of my drawing and tried to trace it one too many times. So you can say pencils are my best friend when it comes to things such as writing and drawing. Don't think I could live without a pencil somewhere near by when inspiration strikes me. Now granted I do use a pen when filling out such things as order forms and when applying my signature to something.

Sure thing, it is HISTORY for me. HAHA, no more pencils!!! I was so happy after my first three years in primary school. The teacher had threatened that those who can't write (handwriting) properly will still use pencil while everyone else uses pen when we move to primary 4. I was glad I got "promoted" lol.. ever since then - many many years back - it's pen most of the time for me. Pencils are not too friendly. You either need to keep sharpening it or contend with the lead version. :P

I use pencils - prefer mechanical lead ones...I do accounting at work - so pencils and red pens are my best friends!! Personally when I read books and I find a passage that interests me I make notes in the edges w/ a pencil too.

Hello karvin87 I prefer to use pencils. I don't know why but i like pencils more than pen. Pencils for writing or drawing, i like when i sharped them. God bless you

I use both pen and pencils. Pencils are used for notes, jotting down numbers, doodling, and always handy to have around. I even write letters in pencil. But I use the pen for things like checks, legal documents, and anything that I sign or write that I want to be permanent.

i use pencils when im doing or working some draft sketches on my sketch book. and yes there are times that im still using pencils in writing if theres no pen around.

Yes,it's a history for me,i just remembered that when i was still in my elemantary school,i used the pencil.

I still use pencil for me it is very useful especially in scratch... that you could undo your mistakes easily ...

Pencil is smething wid which gr8 childhood memories are attached, isnt it? my handwriting wid pencil is far better than one wid a pen.........i really love it, simple to write...easy to erase. and apart from all this it was also used sometimes by the teachers to punish us :)

i like the feeling of writing as using a pencil, it would runs fluent much more than pen and ballpen. when i practice my handwriting i used to use a pencil instead of a pen in daily life, it sounds stupid, =-),it's my style!

Generally, I use biros. But I like to do some sketch sometime, you know, I need pencil at that time.

I occasionly use pencils in school for math sometimes, but most of the time I use a pen because I can write faster with one. It may not make much of a difference, but I just like pens so much better. Also I hate the "debris" (I forget the actual term for it) after you eraser something. It kind of makes me feel guitly when I just push it off my desk onto the floor.

I don't use a pencil... I use more my pen... whan I was child I used it :) Today I use pencil only to draw xD

i use a pencil regularly. It cannot be replaced by the pen. what we write with the pencil can be erased annd modified. pen does not have this facility.

Well as I have a hobbie to draw sketches! SO pencil is someting whcih is the most closest thing to me..! Greatest gift..! I have an endless relationship with pencil..! I do use it regularly its cool .

I haven't used a pencil since about the 4th grade. In my school, we only had to use a pencil while we were learning to write in cursive, once we had mastered the art of that, we were given pens to use so we no longer needed pencils. I used to use a pencil when i was doing some drawing but that's about it & i haven't done any drawing for quite a few years now! My partner still draws though, he's very good so he has pencils that he uses on a regular basis!

When I was at primary school all we were aloud to use was a pencil and then when we got into the final class we were aloud to use them but only when practising handwriting. The year after I went up to secondary school and you were only aloud to use a pen, pencil were used for diagrams, but now whenever i need to write something or jot something down I reach for a pen, they are always easier, the majority of the time they work and if they don't there is one nearby that will work. Pencils just take time to sharpen and eventually the writing changes because the pencil is blunt. I don't think pencils will be history for a long time because you need them for drawing and are easier to rub out than pens.

Yea, i still use pencils especially for doing sudoku and other stuff like that. But i don't use them at college. I usually use a penpencil there.
