Hey.. Ok Im 17 and I really like this guy who is turning 21 next month. And I wanna date him but my parents say that he is to old for me and that I am only allowed to date guys that are 19 or younger. I dont think this is rite I have liked this guy for years and Couldnt date him before because he said I was to young Now that I am older he Wants to date but my parents say he is to old.. Do you Agree with them or not?..Or do you see no problem with this?

I have to agree with your parents . There is lots of time in the world for you to date people older then you . At 17 you must be able to find someone close to your age that you might be interested in and in a couple of years your parents won't have the right to choose who or what you do in life . They are only trying to do what is best for you , take the time to enjoy life as a child now because before you know it you will have all the responsibilities of an adult before you know it and as exciting as it may sound to you right now , with it comes a lot of hard work and determintation to make something of yourself in life .

As much as I wanna Disagree with you and my parents I cant.. I was talking to my mom tonite about it and even tho we have had this talk about a million times now it didnt clue in to me untill tonite I think it was because she worded it totally different. She explained that there is nothing you can do as friends that you cant do if you were datung, And that saying you have a boy/girl friend is only a word and that it doesnt mean or prove any thing at all.. I much as I hate to admit it she is rite once again..lol :):)

Unfortunately if you live with your parents, then you're bound by their rules. Maybe you can wait until you're 18 and move out to date him?
If you dated him secretly, your parents might just get really angry with you.
If he really likes you, maybe he could sit down with your parents (embarrassing I know) and tell them that he has your best interests at heart and that he really likes you and wants to date you. It might just work if they see what a decent guy he is.
