Mike is home from the hospital now. He is feeling much better and actually only taking Advil for the pain, even though they gave him morphine pills by Rx. Once the tube that was vacuuming the extra air was removed the pain became a lot less. Even with morphine, when the tube was in my poor son was in terrible pain. I know my mother has watched me in pain and felt helpless and now I can identify with it. Now my son is on the mend. Praise the Lord. Thank you all for your prayers.

OH thank you so much for keeping us updated! I'm so glad that your son is home and is on the mend! I agree it is so hard to see your children in pain- You feel so helpless. You were a great mom though and stayed with
him- gave him support- and were just there- That's all you can do! Again I'm so super happy that he is home and feeling better. And that is great about just taking Advil instead of the more potent stuff. Sure sign that he
is on the mend! Won't be long till he can play those drums and work out
again!

Thank God your son is on the mend and going to be okay now. There's nothing worse than having to watch your child suffer. I know that from first-hand experience myself. Be sure to take care of yourself also.

Thank you claudia. I'm trying to be good to myself too. It's interesting how we can become selfless when taking care of our children. I had a lot of sleep to catch up on after he went out of the hospital, but I never knew it till I laid down and was out like a light.

I pretty much did nothing yesterday but lay down and rest. I am not going to do much today. I'm trying hard to be good. He's home at his Dad's. Eventually he will be well enough to come here for a weekend maybe as he usually does. That is the hardest part is not being able to care for him now he is home, because it isn't my home. At least I know he is in his own bed.

Glad to know that your Mike has come home from the hospital. I completely understand how hard it is to see your own kid in pain. I'm a mom myself. We should thank Him for for His goodness and love. I believe there's a lot of people praying for your Mike. Let's keep on praying. Right now, all you need to do is to give all the special care you can give your kid. He's surely going to be fine.

I'm so glad things are looking up for him. I will keep you all in my prayers. Strength for the family to go through this and even more for him to come through quickly and with a speedy recovery.

That is wonderful news. I did not forget him in my prayers. He'll be up and about in no time children are very resilient.
