How do you all deal with just the stress of everyday living. Some days I find harder than others and when that happens I just cannot seem to keep my mind from going over and over the day. I have a very bad problem with dealing with stress. What do you all find helps you when you are having a very stressful day? Thanks

There isn't a best way to deal with stress as we are all different and react differently to stress but there are some things you can try:
*Deep breathing and relaxing your muscles when you feel stressed
*Don't dwell on things you can change that are causing you stress
*Talk about it with someone
*Eat well balanced meals throughout the day and take vitamins and drink plenty of water
*Get a good night sleep every day.
*Exercise or do yoga.
Ignore the small things

In dealing with stress... i will turn to my cats. Certain studies had stated that pet can reduce your stress. Yeah... it apply to me very well. Here, she is... grooming herself beside me... :)
I will listen to ballad or instrumental like Kenny G or Mozart... and reading books or magazines..

I do that same thing replay the day in my head. Or I worry about the next day. I usually take a nice warm bath and I tell myself to just let today go and pray for a better tomorrow. I keep telling myself not to sweat the small stuff, and to only worry about the things I can do something about. It's a slow process but i think it is working.

Hi!
Have you tried meditating?
There are many forms of meditation and you can just choose one that helps. I find that it does help you to de-stress a bit. ;-)

For me I find the best way of dealing with stress is to get a good run in. Or a good workout. Physical activity is so stress relieving. I always feel replenished afterwards. Plus if I have a problem that is weighing on my mind a good long run always gives you plenty of time to think!

In my case a quick run in the mountains can do wonders; I take the train and in 2 or 3 hours I am there, it depends of the train. I return a diffrent person. A change of scenery is always welcome; these days I am not in a good mood, every day I do the same things, see the same persons at work and this town(Bucharest) gets on my nerves.

I tend to sleep it away. If I am having a bad day or cry all day or just plain ol' feellike CRAP. If I sleep....I feel much better when I wake up
