Why do teenagers work?

well i think teens want more and more money to spend. thats the main reason y they work. teens have lots of wishes to spend and buy. mainly teens want to spend for their girl/boy friends , which really motivates them to work . to have good sat nights ..to have get togethers...for which they need lot of money . and they cannot get all this from their parents . if in case tehir parents are rich then its fine . but in case their parents r poor ,they may not be able to afford for petty expenses. so they prefer to work .

To earn there own money and to learn about responsibility. Also to gain experience in the work force. i think it's good for teens to work and volunteer. It teaches them and gives them more to add to a resume.
