The Lord of the Rings movie is one of the best epic movies taken from a book. Although we all know that when making a movie based on a book, there will always be revisions, this movie has given a very nice or an amazing impression on the audience. The storyline was very well made, the actors have played their characters well, they have amazing visual and sound effects too, which made the movie garner lots of awards...^_^ It's a huge box office hit and I guess the fans of the book weren't actually disappointed with the movie. I am a fan too, and I have read the book also. I have enjoyed both and I say it's one of the greatest stories ever mad. Tolkien is such an amazing man..^_^

The movies where great. There isnt really much flaw in them, there mythology and they show a great deal of it. I didn't like some of the roles of the characters, and wish they had made another movie, because the drop off was very un nice. I believe that if they would have made another movie, and written another book; to finally end it, they could have had so many more supporters of it, and I would have become obsessed with it, but I just like it now, im one who likes the kind of movies that end and dont go on for ever.

Are you sure you saw all three movies? There is a pretty clear cut ending...

i love the movie, i also love the cast, especially aragorn, with his dirty looks. he looks such a man...
I love the story, wherein all kinds of creature living in the third earth are living, especially the elves, with their shining image, their friendship with the men, i also love the premise that the good are battling and went victorious against evil.
I also acknowledge the effort done in the making of the movie, the trainings the cast undergone, the costumes, the effects and all of it. It is one movie that I always watch.
If you have seen the extended versions of the movie, you will better understand it.
You may also read the books.

My favourite was the "Two Towers" but again that was my favourite book too. I love the three movies, specially the fact that Peter Jackson is a big fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and you can see that in the movies in the way he incorporates Middle Earth Mythology in the movies, adding special "treats" to the real LOTR fans, mentioning facts that appear only in the Silmarillion book. I thin the movies are loyal to the books in some ways and in others they are not but that was to be expected.
