i am from India and here it is normal to see plenty of students studying hard for their future. a lot of students belong to a family which doesn't have a business background, so the only option remains is a hi profile job. but is a job i really the goal of a professional or high level study?

i'll say, study the things that you are interested in and in the mean time do some research whether the field that you study in will be able to at least pay for food on your table. However said, we still need to have some money.
also at the same time, gain as much knowledge and experience as you can, then, it's up to you whether you'll like to venture into business or settle for a high paying job.
you'll never work again if you love what you are doing.
