depends on what im cooking and how nice it is out. If im grilling hotdogs and burgers I stay out. If im grilling chichen , fish, or steaks I dont stay around to much.

That makes a lot of sense. Burgers and hotdogs grill up so fast that you have to stay close by, byt with chicken or steak, I can go back and hide inside, especially if it's really hot out.

I don't grill my hubby does. I'm not sure if its cause he doesn't trust me by the grill or what. *haha*
My hubby will leave the grill going outside while he comes inside to do other things. He never stands out there with it unless he's turning the steaks or getting it lit up.

That's my theory too. I hate staying outside with the grill, because I hate smelling like charcoal all night.

We don't stay outside with the grill either. We have a porch out back where we put the grill and we just keep an eye on it through the slider.

To tell you the truth, when I put something on my grill, I end up going back in the house tending to some other things and then I go back and forth to the porch and check the meal. As long as you keep an eye on what your doing I guess that's alright.

The grill is outside, but I hate ahving to stay outside withit. Once I put the food on I will, but while the grill gets how, I just let it burn.
