AS you know, I started a discussion about deleting friends. Almost all responses were positive, as people can see why I am doing it. There was a very negative response today, well, two in fact, from the same person. She got it all wrong, & obviously hadn't read my discussion properly. She then proceeded to find another discussion of mine, which she also wrote negative comments about. I responded to all of her stupid comments, & I have saved one of them, as I may use it in a discussion. I will put it here for you: "As you are not one of my friends, I don't see why you are bothering with your response. I can see that you have not read my discussion clearly, or maybe I failed to make my point properly. I made it clear, that I do not, at any stage, expect friends to respond to all of my discussions, only a few here & there, & obviously only the ones that interest them. Friends I have know this. My discussion stated that this refers to friends that have never responded, but start about 15 discussions per day themselves. Why would I turn the notification off? What's the point of that? I want to see my friends discussions, as I like to respond when I can. If a "friend" is starting way too many discussions, but not responding to any of mine, then there is no way I can develop a relationship with them. Many of my friends start 4 or 5 discussions per day, & lately I am lucky to start two.. If you look back at the other responses to this discussion, you will see that I am supported 100%, as people understand what I am on about!"

I have deleted a few friends. But this is because they have been inactive for a few months. I don't know if they quit the site or got kicked off. I will usually wait a few months to see if friends are active or not. I probalby could delete a few dozen more, when I get around to it.

I go through them once a month and delete anyone that has not logged in for at least 4 weeks. I do keep building my friends. It is much easier to go through their discussions first and hunt for others later.

This is a hard one to answer! I guess if you have friends who haven't been active on myLot for some time then it's time to delete them. Otherwise, you could try turning some off for a while! LOL

I keep building up so I can try to respond to their topics first. I never delete unless someone is being really mean to me.
