Can a good marriage without passion at all?

Do you think it possible that a happy marriage without passion at all? In my country I witness many families that come into being without much passion or no passion at all. They form the families just for the sake of a family. but their families last all the life long while many other families broke few years after they married pasionately. I wonder what the things that really matter for marriage.
