New Virus

There is a dangerous virus being passed around electronically, orally and by hand. This virus is called Worm-Overload-Recreation-Killer. (WORK)
IF you receive WORK fom any of your colleagues, your boss or anyone else via any means, Do not touch it!
This virus will wipe out your privae life completely.
If you should come into contact with WORK put your jacket on and take two good friends to the nearest grocery store. Purchase the antidote known as Work-Isolating-Neutralizer-Extract (WINE) or Bothersome-Employer-Elimination-Booter (BEER).
Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.
You should make sure 5 of your friends are aware of this threat.
IF you do not have 5 friends, you have already been infected and WORK is controlling your life.

LOL good one when i first read the first bit i though i will respond with a thank you then I read it all lol that was good. But it just goes to show you though that not everyone reads through the whole thing before responding. I would like to copy this and send out to a few of my friends they will get a good chuckle out of it. OK with u??

This is very cute. I would have a problem with the 5 friends part. NOt because I work too hard because I am a stay at home wife but because all my old friends don't want anything to do with me because I am too settled down for their taste and I would rather go to a church activity than something other than church.

Well, what you need is new friends, because obviously the old ones don't deserve you.
Don't let them get in the way of your serving God. HE will reward you for that with better friends than you could ever hope to have had in the old ones.
BTW...you can count ME in that new group.

I unfortunately had to come into contact with this virus today. But I'm wearing my brightest, cheeriest summer capri outfit and sandals, and every once in a while, I close my eyes, and pretend that I'm on the beach somewhere with a little umbrella drink.

I once had this virus called WORK....I got rid of it quick and in a hurry too. lol and it is funny that some of the people that have posted do not know that it was a joke. But it is also possible that being from another country that they do not understand it. But I couldn't help but to laugh my rear off at it. I even had to share it and some of the responses with my roommate. She got a kick out of it too!

Glad to make you laugh. I don't think we can ever have too much laughter in our lives. It chases away the gloomies.
I am trying hard to sit in my office, but avoid the virus right now. Wish I was sitting by the water somewhere instead.

It proves the point that I made at work the other day. That some people will read the title and first line of a letter or a document and sign off on it without reading the rest. Then they holler when a new rule is enforced and swear they didn't know about it.

This is too funny, thank you so much for sharing this. Since our housefire I realized that even with a comedy show I was not laughing. So you have given me a lift this morning. I like this alot especially when working at a job that is not a good fit for you or the employer and yet you need to stay for the income. Thanks for sharing this again.

I'm so glad! 6 years ago, we lost everything we own in an apartment fire that didn't even start in our apartment. If you need to talk,vent or cry, let me know. I know it's hard, but talking with someone who's been there helps

hahahahaha i got this virus too, but i never thought of the antidotes. thank you for these good tipps lol. might try them today. i just imagine the people at the store when i ask for the Bothersome-Employer-Elimination-Booter hahahahaha. i wont wonder if the woman searches for it lol
