Have you tried once in your life that your looking at nothing like you were just sitting on the couch and you were staring at that corner and seems your looking at something but actually your not. YOur just staring at the air and like your mind is floating in the air. It seems like your thinking of something but your mind is blank and your thinking of nothing. Did it happen to you?

This has happened to many times. It's like you're in deep thought or something. My sith garde teacher use to tell us that when you stare at something like that it means your blood pressure is low/high. Don't know if that's true or not but I have oftern thought of that whenever I had those moments.

I've had this happen to me many times. I'll be sitting there looking at the wall or the sky or anything for that fact thinking about something then when I reaize it, I realize that I didn't even see what was infront of me and I can't remember thinking about anything at all. Or someone will be talking to you and you will look at something and think only for a few seconds about what they are saying and then soon you can't hear them any more and when you can again you're like wow I missed the whole conversation. Where in the world did my mind go?

I used to do this alot when I was little. I don't consider it day dreaming because you're not really thinking of anything.
Thinking forward, up to now..meditation techniques and other mental excircises..it seems extremely similiar. AND not many people seem to be able to do it on purpose.

well it is happening to me sometimes, a sort of mental block, looking at something but the truth is you are not looking,no reaction whatsoever, and then somebody tap me on my shoulder, then i will be back to reality LOL.
i think that's normal.

Oh yeah I do this all the time. I am the type of person if I have something on my mind I go ahead and ask or say it or I will forget it. I have got in trouble with my parents before for talking when they were. I also have ms so that could of been why and ms is a brain disorder that does cause forgetfulness at times.

I used to be able to clear my mind that way, and it was rather enjoyable. Nowadays, I just can't seem to do that, what with my mind spinning over bills, housework, kids and grades, more bills, etc. It just won't stop, not even for a minute. It would be a blessed relief to be able to do that again, even if it's only for a few minutes.

LOL! Many a times it happened to me. It is a strange thing. When something like this happens i assume that i was thinking but now i am unable to recall and just leave it. Only now i came to know that many of us face such thing. Well, i am confident that i am normal now, because i used to think that why am i acting like this, is it that i have gone mad ;P

Yes I do it all the time. I will just stare off into space but I'm not staring at anything.

This happens when you "daydream" or as some call it "off into space" it happens to many people.

This attitude may progress to psychological problems.

I had those days too. It usually when I got nothing to do. And i just sit on my chair, supposed to read a book or listened to music. But, I just daydreaming instead, not knowing what I do. And my mind just went blank, there is nothing that I think of exactly. Sometimes there were thought, like what will i eat at dinner ? How should I do with that shelves and etc. I don't know whether it's good for us or not, but those behaviour must be happened to us. I just hope not too often..LOL.
