What is the best way to easily get rid that hot-spicy sensation in our mouth?

Ice? Water? Cold Rice? Sugar?
As far as i know, milk is an alternative.
Full fat milk (or at least 2%) - is an excellent wash-off of the spice. It works because spice is lipsoluble(it means it is soluble in fat, not in water), and the fat in milk washes it out. Water doesn't work.
How about do you any other alternatives? Just lemme know buddies.

When I was living in Tucson I learned to have bread (the fresher the better) available at every meal. Taking a bite of bread after a bite of delicious oh-so-spicy food worked for me every time. And a plus was that even with a very sensitive digestive system, I rarely had a "later on" problem after a spicy meal, as long as I had fresh bread available. I have some friends from Mexico who keep flour tortillas available at the table, in a bowl with some milk. Although I don't recall them ever explaining a reason for it, I'm sure that ties in with your milk theory. Interesting. Happy spicy eating!

That sounds good to me. I usually have naan bread with curry. I also have some nice cold mango chutney to dip it in!

I will stick to milk. That always works for me. I know water doesn't make any difference. I've never heard of using any other things.

i have seen people running weird after eating hot hot chillies. hot spicy sensation can be subsided by i think eating sugar and a bread slice. it works for me.
