Is having Lumps in Brasets means chances of cancer?

I have been experiencing little lumps in my breast over 2-3 weeks.Initially there was pain but eventually pain has gone.it pains only when i touch it.but lumps are there & they are really hard.I first thought it will go away with my periods but it has been there.Can it be really dangerous like cancerous.I have been in tension.

Cysts are unpleasant, but like the other poster said, you really need to go have this checked out by a doctor. It could go either way, but finding out is very important. Good luck!

It definitely could be cancer, and it is VERY IMPORTANT that you go to the doctor immediately! I'm very serious, get in there as soon as possible. If there is something wrong, (and I hate to say it but it sounds like something is wrong because it's not normal to have lumps) you need to get it taken care of right away! You don't want it to get worse, or get to the point where it can't be treated. Please do yourself a favor and visit the doctor right away! I will be hoping for you! Best of luck!

You need to get those checked out. Odds are they are nothing but don't take that chance. They can do something about this kind of medical issue. But if you put it off it could get worse. Go to the doctor and let him check it out so that your mind can rest easy. I will pray for you.

Cancer is a silent killer.Cancerous lumps need not necessarily be painful.Most of the lumps are benign.But any unusual cyst can turn malignant,hence should not be ignored.Do periodical self examination.I hope you know the procedure.If the lumps are painful and are present since long,then taking doctors advice and getting mamography done would be a wise thing to do.Good Luck rb.:-)

Get it removed and check it to be doubtless. I also have a very small type of swelling in my neck and I am avoiding though my husbnd has warned me many times. We probably fear to face reality and so we avoid it. I feel a little scared to get surgery done.

Cancer runs in my family so I never take a chance. If I notice something that doesn't appear to be normal I always have it checked out. I had a sister wait too long to have something checked out. It cost her her life. I know that you are worried but it is always better to have things checked out as soon as possible and not wait. I hope that you have gotten yourself checked by a doctor.
