I started some subjects nowadays, but none of them get responds more than 5. I feel upset about it. Why you guys got so many responds? Are my subjuects so boring? I hope I can come up with good ideas of discussion subjects. How do you do about that?

Its not the subject that really matters. The topic you raise for discussion should be interesting enough for others to open your discussion. If your title is attractive enough, then you have crossed half the well.
Keep your discussion as simple as possible. Give more room for other users to include what they think is relevant to your topic. Thanks.

i think what is important is that you have an active friends network. Friends will generally answer your discussions first, this gets them going, up and running. After this your discussions should get noticed.
However, i have noticed that after maybe 4 or 5 responses, my discussions stop getting responses for a day or so and then maybe get one or two more. Ive never had a lot of responses, guess i must just not get into the sort of discussions mylot want
blessed be

To get more attention on your discussion subject,I think you should use the capital letter frequently because it is more attractive. You also can edit your own mylot page with more attractive decorations.
About the subject title, you can discuss about what people always and like to do.The current issues also can be a best subject discussions.
p/s:same as you when I first posting in mylot...hehehe

I don't how to decorate mylot page, is that difficult? Well, what you mean about subject title is quite right, if not interest others', they won't come in to discuss it.

Don't lose hope,
this is a genuine problem most face. Even i don't get many responses. Sometimes even none. But then there is always next time. You know i generally post my responses to only those discussions that have had no responses as yet. This helps the person to atleast get something for his started discussion.
And i am sure you are not posting discussions on boring subjects. Maybe its just that because on so many new discussions started everyday, people are not able to reach your discussion.
Try hard , make new friends and i am sure the situation will improve.
So cheer up!!!!!

With a population of almost 90,000 the competition is fierce for responses. You don’t stay on the front page very long if you don’t get a response right away. I find it hard to get a good discussion going that will get a lot of responses. I guess it just takes practice and patients. I see some of my friends discussions that are months old bring brought up again and again. So it could be timing. You would think that with 90,000 members it would be easy to get a lot of responses but who knows?
