With so many problems in our society we just can't affort to sit and look around. What we need is to do something important in our nation. Are nation cannot just feed to our hungry mouths. We need to have initiative. And if we're thinking that it is the government's responsibility, it is just like saying and waiting a lifetime period. If we want progress, it very important to learn how initiatives works.

That is true, we must have initiative to make our country progressive. But whatever initiative we do individually will take a long time before something could be done to change our country. Leadership is a vital factor. If specifically the President of the Republic of the Philippines does not take the lead and just focus herself in the attainment of vested interests, we cannot move on. And what we can do is to wait for the change of leadership and hope that a better President would take the reigns. For more than 20 years after Marcos, what are the achievements of the country or what steps were taken to make our beloved country improve. Accordingly, we are now No. 1 in graft in corruption and this is against the forward step of our growing country. And as long as graft and corruption is rampant, we cannot move on as we should and only the President of the Republic of the Philippines can do something to minimize graft and corruption.

Finger-pointing will defintely not get the Philippines going into progress. You are absolutely right on this kind of thinking. Only if all Filipinos will stop all the blaming and do their share in nation-building, it won't take much time for us to finally overcome poverty. Sadly, this kind of thinking is not yet prevalent her in the country. We must do our own resposibility instead of waiting the government or others to do it all for us.
