Do you drum up a really good discussion then totally forget what it was?

oh yup. i guess most of ideas are formed before we finally get to sleep. we have thoughts about what to discuss in myLot. thinking that we can memorize all things, we don't write them down first. we forget everything the next morning.

I can think them faster than I can do them or write them, I often think I must have ADD. I have to write down those pleasant fleeting thoughts or they are completely gone in no time at all. You are not fried, just burning your coals at a very high temp.

I have had that problem many times before. Where i think of a great discussion and by the time i'm ready to post it i completely forget what it was. So i have been writting my discussions and topics down. It doesn't matter where i am. I always stop what i'm doing and take the time to write it down, cause if i don't then i completely forget what it was.

I did that this morning. I had a great idea, got up from the computer to get some coffee after opening a page to start a new discussion. The idea was gone completely by the time I got back in front of the computer.
Unfortunately I have thought of my best discussion ideas while driving. It's very hard to write them down when that happens!

oh. happens to me most of the time. i easily forgets things and i easily forget ideas. that's why i always bring my mobile phone along with me all the time. so, whenever i have ideas in my, wherever i maybe, anytime of the day, i just save it on my notes on my mobile phone. i get back to it later and put it on here in myLot.
we all get through a moment of brain stress. maybe we are thinking too much and that our brain cannot take some more inputs anymore. hehe.
happy myLotting!

Oh yes, absolutely, I find I have to take a pencil and writing book with me to bed, or leave it by my bedside because the amount of times in the past that I have come up with these 'ripper' discussions that in the morning I woke up and couldn't for the life of me remember them LOL! So now if I have a beauty I can write it down.

i can relate to that. many a times,i really have my mind and brains going into one thread, that i would post, i even post it but forget all about it the next day. it's annoying and irritates me totally. only consolation being my friends who keep it alive , irrespective of its worth, and help me to remember it when i browse through the page.

a lot of times. one minute i was thinking of such a good topic and then when i do something after a while i forget about it. i try to remember but i can't that's why whenever i have an idea in mind i right it in a piece of paper, in case i forget it. i just hope i won't forget where i put the paper. lol
