Eating fast food regularly increases the odds of becoming obese or type2 diabetic. That's the conclusion of the CARDIA study (Coronary Artery Risk in Young ADults).I also think that eating fast food has consequences for our health, but I also eat fast food:0..Is it good or bad for us??..should we continue eating it?

Fast food is not good for us at all, either physically or psychologically.
It is subjected to high heat, which takes the nutrition away from the vegetables. Secondly, most of it is deep fried, which increases the fat content in the body, thereby making you prone to many more diseases. Fast food is also often eaten quickly - eating food fast reduces the effieciency of digestion, thereby reducing nutrition absorption even further, and making you fat even faster.
In Europe, there is a movement called 'slow food'. It is a concept where people take a long time to eat, and enjoy their food thoroughly. This is the way to go, because this has so many benefits that they can't even be listed. Food should be slow - served slow, eaten slow and digested slow. That is the secret to a healthy and happy life.

I have read the journals that are released by the Doctors & i have read that fast food is fast killing the younger generation & making them obese. I am seeing kids who are now obese & are struggling to keep up with things.
Recently in the city where i live there have been reports that a few of the guys who are in thew age group of 18-25 have complained chest pain as they were obese. Eating stuff made of oil like that of French fries etc should be reduced as potato has the capacity of making people gain weight., its not only the potato even drinking Coke & Pepsi is always not advisable & drinking water is much more preferable.
We need to take seriously what they said because it is seriously affecting the health of the whole lot of younger people. I won't say you should stop eating completely but once or twice in a month is fine...
