i dont have a broken family but i still feel the pain that those people who are in it. there were times that i wish i had a broken family too because in our house we are together but our relationship is not that intact like a real family. sometimes, people with broken families are even luckier than the a normal families.

my parents got divorced when i was around 6yrs old. lived with my mother for a few years then moved back with my dad. i really cant remember a whole lot of what happened before 5th grade. my dad had remarried and from what ive heard from other family members..she was not a nice or good woman. and i know i have some "hang ups" as an adult because of what she treated me like back then. and in all honesty im kind of glad that i dont remember much, i figure its my brains way of trying to protect me, and im all for letting do so! lol
after my dad and his ex got divorced..i was in middle school and so my sister and i would live with mom during school and then live with dad during summer vacations. back and forth for holidays too. they lived in different states so it was about a 6 hour drive 1 way. so it made it rather difficult for my mother, but no matter what she always would find a way to get us to dads, even though he really didnt make an effort to find a way to come get us.
but thats life, it sucks lol!
