I use VNC a very lot. VNC is a boon to a slow machines to connect a fast servers.. Also it has a the advantage of controlling the remote system.... Power shutdown on client side or any network disconnect will not do any harm... And mainly it can be used on different OS platform seamlessly.. Thats why I like it.
