mylot is keeping me sane, how about you?

I agree that there have been some very uplifting posts on here but I would also say that some of the posts have made me sad also. But that is when I just say a little prayer for that situation.

How true that is, my friends, including your good self have helped through some rough times, by being there for me, dropping me messages and knowing that my friends are there to call upon. I have been going through a very bad patch and having Mylot has kept my head above water and I have really appreciated the support, warmth and care that I have received, just shows how friendly this community is. Thank you my friends x

Most of the time this place keeps me sane too. But there are other times it drives me nuts.lol. I guess I am just never satisfied.lol.

You're welcome, always ready to help LOL! I wouldn't say myLot is therapeutic, perhaps because I'm sane without it also, perhaps too sane sometimes! Perhaps a little bit of crazyness wouldn't do any harm, besides, there is spring in the air already etc.;-)! But myLot is a great place, and I always enjoy to be there. If some of my friends hasn't been online for a while, I'm starting to think already: what the heck he/she is doing? Despite the little fact, I'm sometimes a couple of days away myself... Tomorrow is may last working day this month, then we'll have three days off, perhaps I'll have more time then for all my online activities too, incl. myLot.

dear yanji, indeed this place is a great motivation for me, especially for the friends i have made here. my friends are there with me no matter what. they would bother to listen to my blabbers without grudge, they would constanly support me through highs and lows and they would constantly criticise me for messing up things. i am just lucky to have you all my friend. and yanji, do moan at times, i would get a company. LOl

I couldn't have agree more. Some discussion trigger a deep thinking on myself, ie topic like "do u upgrade urself daily", awaken me that i have not been improving myself for quite sometime. Mylot Rocks!

I agree that this is the perfect hobby for me, as it keeps me from getting to focused on myself and problems. I am inspired by some of the people's stories on here, and cheered to think that sometimes I am a help to them. The jokes are funny, the food is yummy, and you guys make me think.

well in my case, what you have just said is totally true. I am bored with my life. I am not very happy with my life. I don't go out because I can't afford to. I'm glad there is mylot that keeps me busy and keep on holding on. I try to just be here reading some of the discussions and be informed free from people all over the world. I have also gain friends from this site. I vent out my anger, happiness, boredom on this site as well.

I haven't been on mylot for about a month now. And i seriously do miss it. I miss chating with the mylotters, and hearing their concerns.

How much true and nobody thought that before except me that is.

Oh, I think this is a wonderful site because it allows for the mind to be opened to all sorts of different things. I mean, we learn so much about each other, the world, and so many other things by interacting with each other. I've been a member of message boards, owned my own, but this definitely enlightens me way more. I seem to learn a lot and have gained so much more respect for the opinions of others because there are definitely many :)

I can relate with you. MyLot has done so many wonderful things to my mind lately. Reading about other people's thoughts and opinions about my personal matters really helps a lot. There are just so many pieces of advise that can guide me to cope up with the "tormenting" situations in my life. And MyLot never failed to make me smile everyday. May it be because of a mylotter's response to my post, a friend's personal message, a post that I find worthy of my time, seeing the number on my "star", my $$$ going up, or even seeing "heated" and "petty" arguments that never seem to fail to entertain me (sorry but I always find "arguments" here in mylot amusing, it's like I'm in a school having a class debate... Hehehe!) Thanks to "kuyafish" for the referral. I'm sure glad I'm in this community.
