Here is one for you Cat owners lol
Our Cat Scruffy has this thing about getting into anything that she can fit into she has even tried my Handbag in the past lol
Her favorite one though is getting into Carrier Bags and running around the floor in the Kitchen
She runs into the Bag and of course slides a bit along the Floor
Well she did this just after I brought Gissi home to live with us and she went skidding straight towards Gissi and nearly knocked him of his feet
The poor little Devil did not know what had hit him lol
He was one scared Dog when I got him so of course this scared him and he just looked up at me, so I picked him up and told Scruffy not to do it again, lol, until he was secure and not so scared. But of course Scruffy being Scruffy didn't really care lol as it was her Game and no one was going to stop her playing it lolol
Do your Cats have any favorite Games specially when they know they can get annoying with it lol

My son had a cat that did that with a bag. It was so funny. All you had to do was rustle the bag a little and he would come running. I'm sorry to say this but my cats are stupid.lol. But I still love them dearly. I don't know if its a game but one of their favorite things to do is to throw up in my basket of clean clothes. I think they take turns.lol.

I'll be Gissi found a way of getting his own back on Scruffy though! lol. You only have to look at the way he comes on to her when he's in Doncaster. ha ha ha
I had a cat who liked to climb into boxes and explore bags, but he usually did it on a carpeted floor, so there was no sliding bag... or box come to that. I can imagine that's quite a funny sight.
Cats are very curious creatures. I've never known from that day to this why a box or carrier bag was so interesting, but it was!
Thank you for sharing this Gabs. Amusing, and as always, brought a smile to my face. Love and huggggs.

Our youngest (of four) is our Octavia a kitten and she is into everything, she loves carrier bags! And like Scruffy will run around in the kitchen with a bag on her head, I have to supervise her make sure she doesn't suffocate lol! I find her in my sock draw once, made me jump she had well and truly buried herself in. We were frantically worried about her once because she had been gone and it was getting dark, we eventually found her curled up in the airing cupboard! She is quite a madam too and stands up for herself and will even go for the next door but one's big Tom, the others don't like him but she ain't having none of it and even goes into HIS garden and growls at him LOL!

My little male has a favorite game called attack whatever moves. He will pounce on the other older female cat, as well as Izzy. I don't think he has ever pounced on one of us though. He knows better!LOL.
Our female has just started playing walk on the roof. She gets up there and we hear her and so we go let her in. She got fooled last night though, LOL She got up there just 2 seconds before a heavy downpour hit. We called her over and over but she did not come in. I cold just see her up there hunkered down getting pelted by the rain. I bet she doesn't get back up there for a while!LOL

Think Tias worst habit is crying to get in the back door until you let her in and then walking straight to the front door and demanding to be let out! lol I know this isn't a game really but she does do it to wind us up - of that I am sure! \mind if you asked my partner he would say that her most annoying game is jumping on top of the keyboard when he is at the computer and trying to catch whatever is on the monitor - she never does that to me though - she's a good girl!

My 2 cats are always playing, the younger will do his morning run in the house, not caring where he jumps or what he breaks in the jump and then sometimeds he will jump on the bigger cat and then they start rolling around fighting which I have to break up since I don't want the bigger cat to hurt the younger guy. Your cat sounds cute, I bet they are cute to watch.

I didn't know youhad a cat, Gabs. I just knew about Gissi. Well, good for you.
I have two cats and they are always into everything. But the funniest little critter I ever had was my cat moses (Now in Kitty Heaven). When I had Moses, I lived in an old brownstone in Philadelphia with an old refrigerator that did not have a bin at the bottom. If I opened the fridge door and I wasn't paying attention (turned to pour a soda or something), Moses would pop in and I'd close the door. I can't count the number of times I left that apartment and doubled back to check on Moses. A couple times, he actually did jump out of the fridge when I ran back to check.

One of my cats, Missy, has a great love for trying to climb under any type of blanket or clothing that is left on the sofa. And believe me, it's a bit nerve racking to see an entire "mountain" of laundry moving with no visible cause! One of our sofas has the cushions on the back that can be lifted up, but they are still attached. Missy will even try to crawl in there, and it's hilarious to see a white nose, or a striped tail sticking out from either side of the cushion. My calico, LittleBit, has a toy squeaky mouse (which thankfully the squeaker is now out of commission thanks to LittleBit tossing it in the water). She will grab it with her paw, make like she's getting ready to toss it like a football player, and then she will literally throw it about 10 feet in the air and then catch it again with her paw! She has conked me on the head several times! LOL. And THEN.....there's Nemo, my big orange tabby. He is like your Scruffy, and has a fascination with the plastic grocery bags. He will jump on them, play in them, and even chew on them. But there have been a few times that he has gotten the handle loosely wrapped around his neck, and in trying to get it off, the noise scared him so bad that he ended up running all over the house for about 15 minutes trying to get away from it. I finally caught him and removed the bag, and the poor little guy's heart was beating so fast and so hard that I had to hold him and pet him until he calmed down. All the time, I was laughing my butt off, because it was so funny to watch!

LOL I used to have a tortie calico, Tigger, that would go after any unfortunate dog that tried to come in her yard (except for ours...she loved them). One day, I was sitting inside with the front door open, and I heard a male voice say "Bruno, I think you bit off more than you can chew." I looked outside, and there was Tigger sitting up on her hind feet like a prairie dog, getting ready to take on the biggest Rottweiler I have ever seen. The guy and I watched for a minute, and then started laughing when Tigger slapped the dog on the nose once with her claws, and the dog yelped and backed away. It was hilarious. No one could say my cat was a wimp! LOL

My cats biggest game they love to play, no matter how many times I tell them to not do it is climbing my curtains. They pull themselves up the window side of the curtains and then when they get to the top they climb up onto the curtain rod and hang out up there. Once they are up there though they can't figure out how to get back down so they sit there and cry until I come yell at them and crab them down, I almost can't reach them way up there.
Their second favorite game is futon running. I have this low to the floor wooden futon in my bedroom, the one cat gets under the edge of it, lays on her back and "runs upside down" on the mattress. It is so funny to watch, but she is doing some damage to the mattress.

My cat used to play with my hair, she would sit on the back of the couch and play with it. It didn't bother me because it was almost like brushing my hair, its was kind a relaxing thing. However she started to get annoying with it, she would do it everytime i would sit down. I really got annoyed with her, so finally whenever i would sit down i would put her outside.

Hello Gabs, I don't have a cat of my own. But i have witnessed lot of cats antics thanks to them being in my neighbourhood. be it chasing rats, being chased by dogs themselves, or whether they are on lookout for somebody's else milk in the pan in neighbourhood like mine if hungry. Well yeah it used to get annoying at times. Have a great day. enjoy life. :)

My cat "Jackie The Ripper" is gone now, but her favorite thing was to jump into my dishwater or shower, she actaully liked warm soary water! :)
The thing is, she was a big cat, but very quiet, so I never knew when she was coming... she loved to scare people wht this trick...
She also had a habit of hiding the dog's food dish, which made him go "nuts"! LOL! :)
Both of my pet's are gone now... your post brought back some fun memories! :)

Yes, i do seriously think that cats have their own favorite games that they like to play. And they really don't care if it bothers us or not. They are sort of like kids, they do things over and over again, knowing that it gets on our nerves, but yet they still choose to do it. lol

My cat Honey has a thing for plastic bags, as soon as he sees one he'll be inside it, although he doesn't slide along the floor, he'll just curl up and then if Max (the other cat) walks by Honey will jump out and scare Max.
They both love hiding/playing with cardboard boxes, one of them will hide in the box and stick his paw out through any gaps he can find and the other will attack the box trying to get at the paw. Its really funny to watch until you realise you actually need the box they are destroying!!

Oooh man, out kitten Buttons has several games that annoy us to no end but she's so cute that we can't stay mad for long. She loves to run through the kitchen, slide on the floor, grab one of the cabinet doors and dive in. She also loves to get into our dresser drawers when we open them and she won't come out. I think that her favorite game right now that she knows really, really annoys us is that she'll go into the bathroom and start tearing up the toilet paper. That drives us nuts! But we still love her and she knows it..lol.

My cat Kali loves to also get into small spaces that are high up as possible. She plays a game with my boston terrier, brady all the time....when she wants to play with (of course on her terms only) she'll find him laying down some where in the house and flop right down in front of him. If he ignores her she will start nudging him with her head and meowing. He finally gets up, because he knows she won't go away until he plays with her. When they start playing it is a game of chase and rolling on the ground with each other.
She is about a year older then he so she is the queen of the house. I found it odd to see this type of behavior between a cat and a dog. If another cat starts messing with Kali Brady will start barking at the other cat till he leaves her alone. But I must say that when Brady is in the mood to play with her she will stick her butt up in the air and just walk away till she gets to "her spot".
She is one prissy girl that likes to play when she wants too. The world revolves around her....don't ever mistake that lol.
