Depending on my moods I will play certain kinds of music and although usually 90% of the time I will play music from the 80s the type of music I will play reflects my moods, how I am feeling. Do you have certain music for certain moods? When I'm feeling depressed and sombre I will play Electric Light Orchestra, Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music and The Carpenters When I'm feeling happy I will play Beautiful South, Duran Duran, UB40 and Songs from the Musicals (Evita especially) When I want to relax I will play Enya Do you have set music you play on your moods?

Yes, music always reminds people of something or makes them feel in some way. I can tell that when I listen to hard rock I feel happy. It makes me feel free. I dance, a sing... It is something perfect that happens. But there are also some ballads that remind me of my old friends and then I feel depressed because these friends are far or they are not my friends any more. So it depends on music but it always makes me feel somehow.

I love to listen to praise and worship songs early in the morning coz it helps me start my day right singing praises to God. I can feel the songs filling me with joy and comfort that I need from my Lord. Its a swet reminder to carry on each day each moment and offer it to my creator. Instead of thinking of other things, it helps me focus on the positive things that life can offer me.

Sweets I don't play music according to my mood - I am more likely to listen to the radio or music channel - but I do find that music can affect how I am feeling! Beautiful South are fantastic I seen them quite a few times years ago and I still love them today - The Housemartins were fantastic too - did you like them then? Big Hugs Darlin xxx

i dont play music according to my mood.but music definitely affects it.music is evocative.sometimes it lead to meditation, sometimes joyful memories, but sometimes is sadness.Norah Jones songs always make me think lots about my past, because of her deep vocal.Hotel california is sad so it makes me upset.however,i dont really see music show our moods coz lots of ppl dont pick up what kinda songs to listen to according to their current moods.good music is for all time.:)

When I could tolerate loud noises I used to have different music for different things .. music to do housework by ..(usually fast and furious so I got the jobs done quickly heheh) .. relaxation music, angry music, tired, music, music to drive by ... But now I find I can only listen to music for short periods of time .. other than when I am in the car ..

Yeah I do. When I'm down and depressed I listen to mellow songs or intrumental music. When I'm happy and giggly and in a good mood, I turn up the stereo with some house music; songs that keep me going. When I want to relax, I listen to instrumental music as well.

Of course it does. I like singing and listening to music. What I sing and listen exactly reflect my mood of that moment. I even have some special songs for my special time. Strange it might seem, when I'm in very good mood, I don't always listening to light music or very hot one, I would like to listening to American country music or Blues from which I get a sober mood and forget myself in the melody. I like the feeling.

I don't have one "moods playlist".. but of course I agree with you that we have some kinds of music for some moods. Especially music that is linked with some things of our past. When we feel in a good mood it's when (I think) we feel more opened to listen to new music, trying to grow our relations with music and all other aspects in our lives.

Absolutely!!! I've been a fan of 70's music for many years. To this day, when I hear Lenard Skynard, or The Allman Brothers, I get pumped up and want to dance. If I'm cleaning house, I crank up all my old 80's hair band albums and rock out with my vaccum. Of course the neighbors think I'm nuts, but who cares. I can't hear them, cause I'm jamming!!!!!

At night I keep on air1.com's music (the radio version) which is christian. I do listen to radio during the day radio real life but its kbig104.com both can be streamed in. I do love to listen to rocky music for cleaning it works best. Sometimes silence is best for MyLot or tv. But I listen to music for that too.

I tend to agree myself. There is a commercial where they sing about what are you doing the rest of your life, and it is totally depressing; There is some Billie Holliday that I don't touch until I am in a certain mood; Then there's some music that I deal with when I want to get on my feet. So yes, I agree, music can affect how your feeling.

i believe music is an art form and like any art evokes emotion, music can change how you feel in a split second and can be used to motivate and inspire you. sad music can make you cry, soft music can help you relax, club music can give you energy and other music can perpetuate feelings of hate and indifference. music is the power full medium that can fuels the heart of many.
