Do you mean when poets say things like this:
Life is only
Worth living
If one can
Master those things
That lie dormant
In the soul
Waiting for but
The pulse of the morning
To free
It from it's bitter cage
See, now thats some limit breaking stuff and I understand what you mean. Poets (myself included) tend to say a lot of things that are only relevant (or even make sense) to themselves.
What I wrote above makes perfect sense to me. It may even make sense to others. But it is very rare when the majority of the people "get" a poets poem. It's usually only a select few.
I learned this when I started reading a lot of poetry and kept coming across stuff that people thought was great, but I thought made absolutely no sense.
What you gotta do is just keep reading until you come across the poet that resonates with you. The poet (or poets) that write the stuff that inspire YOU and make YOU think.
When you do that, then no explanation is needed because you will understand immediately.

Yes Zahoor, you are right, but poetry is so wonderful....
I love poets, my favourite are the Latin and ancient Greek ones, my favourite is Homer. I consider the ancient Pagan culture my own cultural roots even if I live in a country full of Christians like Italia.
I read some verses (lines) from ancient Indian Holy Writings and I found them really very wise and interesting.
They sometimes break all the limits, I think it's good somebody breaks the limits from time to time :)

I am a little confused about whether you agree with poets or not? In my opinon, Poetry is like a beautiful song, conveying phyilosophical ideas and let the chaotic world be more pure and innocent. If using too simple lauguage, it will lose the charm of poetry.
