hey.. wel i would suggest that u be a bit more precise about what exactly you want... but generally speaking i would say avid media composer.... im not too sure about the broadcasting part.. but im sure, with that suitabl hardware, it would make a pretty good edit suite..

Hi, I too am looking to buy some video editing software. People have suggested Pinacle or Ulead. Can anyone give me advice on either or suggest another. Needs to be easy to use please!

Unless you are a video editor professional (meaning you will spend a serious amount of dollars) i suggest to lay your hands either to Sony Vegas or Avid Liquid, both are exceptional tools for the startup user, easy to learn with lots of capabilities!
I am in the video post production industry for 16 years (started with analog AB roll) and i use Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 for my fast cut video edits, Avid Xpress Pro for it's powerful color correction tool and of course sometimes (when the client asks) i use Final Cut Pro (awesome)!
Keep in mind that every tool does the same job...editing...sometimes better sometimes worst but finally you'll get what you want! Concentrate on your budget, your platform PC or Mac and then choose wisely! Good luck
