technical era is making man selfish

I agree, in other words, we have become so technologically advanced, but along the way, we lose our sense of compassion for people. We have become so impersonal in our relationship with people. We prefer chatting or texting rather than the personal or face-to-face interaction. We find that rather old fashioned. This reminds me of the paradox of the times . . We have reached the farthest planets, but have not crossed the street to meet our neighbor. . we have tall buildings, but short tempers, etc. What do we do about it?
