Banned cars

What would u do if the government decided to ban all cars in all major city areas, only leaving busses and trams to get around, and lorries to deliver goods to commercial zones.
All this in a incentive to reduce pollution, and provide a healthier enviroment for us and our children.

well i wouldnt mind really. i live in the country so it would not affect me. we use to live in dallas though and i hated the traffic. a place that was 5 miles from the house could sometimes take about 15 mins to get there if driving cause there is so much traffic. there were lots of times it was faster to walk somewhere then to drive. now if you woke up late and were in a hurry it could be a big pain. or if the kid got sick and you had to get to the hospital that would be a big pain too. i know in new york alot of people dont have cars though they just use public transport.
