We have had a long period of fine weather recently so everything is looking really dry. It seems to have been more stable over the last few years so that we can judge for short periods - like a day. However, it is still difficult to be sure what the weather will be like after a week or so. This makes it difficult to plan successfully but is why we are always talking about it. It help us to appreciate the good weather as we never know how long it will last.
