do u think that these type of talent search programmes has any benefit?

i am happy with ur question buddy... yea i am on the same pages with u.... i dont think this talent hunt shows are of any good... of course there is a good entairnment to the public but the person which they are searching has no future.. he will record one album with sony bmg ... sing 2-3 songs in some films and then disapper.... just like abhjeet sawant... do u see him any where now a days ?? nooooo...

i think they hav no regard 4 talent just 4 trps if they care then weres the abhijeet sawant and where da hell is sandeep acharya this shows r just a gimmick

Nikhil,I think you are being too pessimistic in this judgemental world.I think that such programs are creating platforms for the budding talent.These talent hunt programmes aim at finding the best talent from the remotest part of the country to improve the quality of music being produced in the country recently.Plus there are no fees to register for such talent hunt programmes so the poorest of the poor with great talent can compete.A tough competition would bring out a better quality of music to the country.

yes its somewat tru.i agree with u dat the earlier singers who hav won are no where visible not so much onky at beginnning they hav their albums but this is much knwn by themselves who win.

I surely don't think so......if i went to indian idol, my aim wouldn't be of getting 1 crore rs. or getting some launches from their channel, but would be of getting the people and other music directors to know me................... where do u think would any1 get such a gr8 opportunity of showing ur skills to the world............. .........anyways, the reason due to which winners from last 2 seasons r not coming up is that they r just not good enough :( ..........also, u can take the example of carrie underwood from american idol who has so many awards under her,...........and it all started from idol!!!!!!!!!

from my perspective it is only benefitial for sony,bcoz they want new programes after 1/2 months to servive in cometition.i dont thing any good singer will come out of this.

So you are talking about a talent search program in India. I thought this is a general topic. I don't have any idea on the said program but based on what you said the show is a total crap. The channel should made every promise they gave in the contestants. It is unfair for the winners even the challengers.
