Yellow traffic light. Do you slow down or speed through?

Usually I speed through. Not good I know, but it's a habit I think now and it's hard to stop. I have been in some situations where it didn't seem like I had enough time to speed thru so I got nervous and smashed on my brakes. But under normal circumstances I just speed through to make it.

If a light turns yellow and I have enough time and space to stop I will. But sometimes, if I'm going to fast,people behind me are tailgating, and I am really close to the light already..I can't really stop so I'll drive through. But if I can I stop, I never speed through a yellow light just to beat it.

For me yellow means speed up too! I don't want to sit and wait for the light to turn green again. I would rather take my chances and fly through the intersection. I hate waiting at red lights

Neither because I still don't know how to drive at my age. I have been keeping it off for years now. I am just one of those people who prefers to let other people drive me around. I don't want to add driving stress to my long list of stress.

I always used to speed through when I could. I know most of the traffic lights around here and you have to be careful because some of them are really quick and you can't run them. I have a newborn daughter though and have been stopping a lot more for the yellow lights. I guess your priorities change, I can wait those few extra minutes.

most new drivers will slow down, but to people with several years experiences , not easy to say. my little brother always speed up when yellow light, even in no hurry , everyone in my family just think his personality, i self is caution of safety, so i would rather wait the light.

I usually speed through as well, unless I'm pretty far back when it turns yellow. There have been a couple of times the light has turned red while i'm still passing through the intersection, so yeah I probably need to slow down and stop when I see the yellow light unless i'm right at the intersection.

I guess you could add me to the long list of reckless drivers because I also speed through them. LOL. It's very rare if I actually slow down for them.
